Question, Jim: Why are you thinking April 7? I know we pulled it off in about 3 weeks before, but that was another time. Can you not work with a later date so as to further promote the effort? Why that date?
We need to let our senators know how we intend them to vote in the coming senate battle over the judiciary and we need them to know it before the vote. I think the battle will be heating up by the middle of April. If we wait much longer it will be too late. Just like the first March for Justice, we need to stiffen their backbones.
And we chose a Thursday because we need to do it on a day that the senators are most likely to be in their offices. They'll be gone on Friday.
