Better to do like I did, call BOTH of your state senators and local congressman uh congressperson. Not one was a toll call, but it might be for some. Even if they are democrats, call them anyway.
It might take a little effort to find all the numbers. They may not all be in your local phone book. They should all be on the net if you search their name on google.
They all wanted to know my name, phone #, and one wanted my email IIRC. They were getting lots of calls several days ago.
I already called mine twice, but for folks who haven't, I guess snail mail is too slow.
UNLESS they bring their letter in person, which is the best way to go if one has the time. :)
