The problem is that Michael won't allow Terri ANY kind of rehabilitation. It might be that he does not want her to talk and tell what happened the night of her collapse. She had broken bones comparable to someone in an auto accident, and she never had an auto accident.
She really needs to get out of Michael's clutches so she does get treatment and therapy.
Michael has been cruel to her. He won't allow her teeth to be brushed (she lost some teeth), won't allow her to go outside for some fresh air, won't allow religious pictures in her room, won't allow her blinds to be open, etc.
Allowing her teeth to be brushed or to go outside do not seem like decisions that he would be asked to make. This is all very odd.
I doubt he did anything the night of her collapse that would net her more than 10-20 years. The stuff he's done since is another story. If the truth were told before a jury, Michael would find himself looking at many maximum sentences.
Now, being a nurse, this is very hard for me to believe. A real nurse, would care for Terri in the most basic of ways, which includes brushing her teeth.
Are you really saying that he will not allow her teeth to be brushed? Where did you hear this? Who can stop a nurse form brushing a patient's teeth?
I believe that Michael is evil and he is very wrong in wielding this power over Terri, but the nurses certainly bear some of the responsibility if her basic care is denied!
