Pinellas county stonewalled, then destroyed records.
the better question to ask: DOES JODI CENTONZE HAVE A LIVING WILL? Do their children have life insurance policies, taken out by Michael?
I like your third choice the best.
But from my understanding the legal proceedings have nothing to do with her gaurdianship and are only concerned with whether or not feeding and hydration is concidered artificial life support.
Is my understanding correct?
It does seem that the right thing to do is to give her parents gaurdianship unless either he truly believe she would rather be dead or he is afraid that whe will regain enough consciousness and say that her condition is a result of a failed murder attempt.
I'm watching this right now on my local ABC network...this guy, Michael, is pure scum. 100% total scum.
I'd rather let Osama Bin Laden go free than let this guy have his way. He's a joke, an idiot, a horrible, horrible piece of human garbage.
I hope to hell he himself gets hurt...badly. I hope he ends up in a hospital dying and a doctor says, "he's gone, pull the plug".
He's a disgusting, lying puke. By this point he has NOTHING to gain. There isn't any money left and no insurance company is going to pay off at this point. His FAKE emotion disgust me.
It's all about "him"...the "government is using me" crap is ridiculous. I have NO IDEA what he is trying to gain.
I hope he suffers a horrible, horrible death.
I too pray for Terri and that her wishes and God's will might be done. However, you are not allowed to say that here on FR. They all know what Terri wants (somehow)and if you dare suggest she might want something different...well, you are of the devil.
Plenty of helpful stuff here

"the better question to ask: DOES JODI CENTONZE HAVE A LIVING WILL? Do their children have life insurance policies, taken out by Michael?"
Good questions.
That is not my contention I was mearly saying that it could be what see wanted. Not actually being starved to death but being killed in some manner maybe a bit more humane.
But that brings in the whole ethical question of euthinasia and who get to decide who lives and dies and I personally do not believe in euthinasia.
On the other hand there is the possibility that if she could say as much she might state her wish to die. Then the issue becomes that of assisted suicide. Again another possition I do not condone.
It truly would be best if she could go home and be taken care of by her parents.
I sort of got that impression and have tip toed around as I do not not wish to offend or inflame.
Terri was a practicing Catholic before her collapse. It's not likely that she'd consider suicide.
Most folks can't survive more than 3 days without water. Terri made it for 6 days without food and water. I'd say that's a will to live.
thought provoking, at the very least, seeing as Michael Schaivo has a track record: starved his mom, starved his dad, starved Terri. What's to stop him at three victims?
The Guardianship issue is very much in the legal proceedings too, except GREER won't allow that to have a court date until she is dead. He last scheduled a hearing for early November 2003, knowing full well she would be dead late october 2003.
Then GREER cancelled that hearing indefinately (after she was spared the dehydration), and Greer is now only tentatively promising to schedule another one.
You can bet your paycheck that hearing would be a farce, and tossed out as moot.
Will you read my post #92?
"I too pray for Terri and that her wishes and God's will might be done. However, you are not allowed to say that here on FR."
I pray for that too.
In fact, my screen name says that very same thing.
And nobody's called me a devil yet.
Just post your opinions, back them up with FACTS, and leave it at that.
On the other hand, if one were to persist in repeating an absurdity such as
"Terri doesn't have a brain", "She's already dead", or the like,
then it's no wonder that a poster could experience some well-deserved heat.
Do either of you believe that Terri asked to be starved to death?
Do either of you believe that Terri asked Michael to hire a lawyer to get the law changed?
Do either of you believe that 24-year-old Terri anticipated being starved to death?
Do either of you believe that Terri's wish was calling a feeding tube "artificial life support" so that what was once a felony, REMOVING FOOD AND WATER via any source when she could talk, would be done to her when she couldn't talk?
My impression from reading the transcript was that this appearance didn't make Shiavo look good. Is that right?
LOL, yes much better questions.
I don't understand all the ins and outs of this case. I know people have had very negative things to say about the judge in this case but I guess my question is has this judge been the same judge throughout the whole 15 years of legal proceedings?
If not then other judges have not allowed the gaurdianship issue to come to a hearing.
How long has Michael been wanting to have her feeding tube removed?
