Every human being ever born has a terminal heart defect and everyone's chances for longterm survival in this world are zero. The article doesn't say anything about the baby being brain damaged or even mentally retarded. The defect was with his heart and lungs, a defect that may soon be treatable with transplants or other therapies. But not, however, if children like this one are considered too meaningless to support.

This wasn't about parent's rights, this wasn't about suffering, this was about money.
