Well .. I believe Eze 11:8 is a prophesy for a time prior to WWII when punishment was meted out against Israel's transgressions.

When Israel became a state in 1948, that judgment was over.

In Eze 38 and 39 - GOD shows up in the Valley of Miggido and defeats all of Israel's enemies - that doesn't sound like judgement for Israel to me!!

Some people just don't like Sharon - and no matter what he does it will not be good enough.

I think the articles "Bible view of Jericho" is skewed.

Joshua 6: 23
And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

Jericho was only rebuilt under the reign of King Ahab of Israel, who...

1 Kings 16: 30
...did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

So the primary question to be asked is, was the rebuilding of Jericho and example of the wickedness and provocations by the the children of Israel, that characterized this period of history and the Bible and so angered the Lord God? And based on the word of the Bible, should Jericho have ever been rebuilt?
