"Still, it makes me sick how many FReepers celebrate and joke about her death."
And how many of these people claim to be "compassionate conservatives" and "Christians". The hypocrisy is as astounding as it is sad.

Your astound level is astoundingly low. The message brought forth here has nothing to do with the actual fact that Corrie no longer is living and everything to do with the absurdity of her life and what she decided to do with it. The really astounding aspect of this saga, in case you need a lesson in the truly astounding, would be to let the martyrdom of Rachel Corrie go unchallenged or without ridicule.

I have no compassion for the flag-burning little commie twit. I take that back, I'm sorry she was so stupid.

If one had the experience of dealing with Radicals every day you might change your mind. I have been called a Zionist butcher thousands of times. The self absorbed arrogant people are ripe for parody.
Bulldozer behind you!!!!!!!!!!!

1. I am Jewish and not bound by "turn your cheek".
2. Compassionate conservatism is liberalism with a sideorder of religiousity.
3. Rachel Corrie died defending terrorists. That makes her one in my book. Good riddence to the traitor.

I don't think anyone is laughing at her death. They are however laughing about her complete and utter stupidity and the continued stupidity of her parents.
It is sad that anyone dies, but are you trying to make some sort of insinuation that we should mourn the death of this individual?
Perhaps you need to step back and reflect on the consequences of her actions. Do you take into consideration the young people she worked so hard to inspire to hate Americans and Israelies? Do you even take a moment to consider how many will later on kill innocents?
