Since my last name is O'M well I have been around some Hell Raisin Irishmen on St Patty's Day!

Corn Beef, Cabbage, Garlic Mash Potatoes, Green Beer and
"Kiss me I'm Irish Buttons" are Traditional! LOL...

Did you know that they don't eat corned beef in Ireland?
That was a meal the poor Irish in America had because it was the cheapest meat here and you had to boil it (forever) to make it tender. Therefore, corned beef and cabbage is an American-Irish dish!

A German friend of mine married into a large Irish family. Every St.Patrick's Day they would have a huge party with all the Irish trimmings.

He wore a tee shirt with the slogan "I'm not Irish but kiss me anyway"

Had a whale of a time!
