I did a search and found it was even posted here (although I missed that -- as I said, I saw it on FoxNews)
CU activist pair pose as GOP- 'Republicans for Churchill' members are registered Democrats

At least two members of "Republicans for Churchill," a newly formed group that has publicly supported the embattled University of Colorado professor, are registered Democrats.
Aaron Smith, a 21-year-old CU student, has been toting signs with the group's name and wearing stickers with the College Republican's logo. He talked extensively to media at a Feb. 1 on-campus rally that the College Republicans organized to call for the ouster of tenured professor Ward Churchill.
"Today I feel ashamed to be a Republican," Smith told the Daily Camera.
But county voter registration records show that Smith registered as a Democrat on Jan. 26, 2004. He admitted Wednesday that he is registered with the party and voted for Democratic candidate John Kerry in the presidential election.
If the debate deflowered this princess and drove her away from her convictions as a conservative...well...don't let the door hit you in the @ss on the way out, sweetheart.
"The author was not so much disillusioned with conservatism as with partisanship. I think she has a point. I do not see how we can meet "in the middle", which is required for a republic to go forward. "
Be serious. This is a standard Dem tactic, pretending to be a Republican to gain credibility.
Today I feel ashamed to be a Republican," Smith told the Daily Camera.

"...she opened with a statement referring to Clinton as a "horny hick." Such spiteful and subjective comments brought laughter from the audience but did nothing to strengthen her opposing argument......I went home that night and tore my Bush-Cheney sticker off my door, and took my Bush "Taking America forward" pin off my bulletin board. I no longer consider myself a Republican, or even a conservative"
What a joke! No true conservative would react like this. Her beliefs changed because of a simple debate? She must not have had very strongly held beliefs.
What is she now...a socialist?
"Ashley Samelson is a sophomore..."
She's a sophmore, all right, as in sophmoric, as in shallow, as in superficial. 'Ludicrously thin-skinned' also comes to mind. She immediately becomes 'un-Republican' because Ann Coulter hits hard in a political debate? American political discourse can be a rough-and-tumble affair, certainly no place (I guess) for those with such fragile, eggshell sensibilities.
Here's an exercise. Do a paper using his facts and figures to back up your statements. Take it to a good objective professor ( there are some ). They would fail you.
Is this like the "Who really won the Richard Nixon-John Kennedy debate" kind of story?

do you seriously believe she was a bush supporter or a conservative? It is too seminar caller to be given credence.
Tufts must be a difficult place to attend - all those stellar students forced to lower themselves and attend their 'safety school.'
"...she opened with a statement referring to Clinton as a "horny hick." ...
The lesson that both debaters desperately need to learn is that the very essence of debate is objectivity."
To refer to Clinton as a "horny hick" is to express an objective fact.
Based on reading this whole article, I think the author is full of manure. She was not a Republican if one bad speaking engagement was enough to "turn" her.
"I went home that night and tore my Bush-Cheney sticker off my door, and took my Bush "Taking America forward" pin off my bulletin board. I no longer consider myself a Republican, or even a conservative"
gee, I wonder how long she's been waiting to use THAT line. 'Cause it's just B-S
Otherwise, they probably don't understand what the fuss is about over all those other schools in neighboring Cambridge.
