Like you said, "only slightly different." There really isn't much difference in the situation you described. The reaction some people have is extremely different. We have couple repeat trolls on the Terri threads that would probably want the earthquake survivor to be rescued, but they'll probably throw a party while Terri's being murdered.
You have more faith in the trolls that I do. I think they would gladly euthanize Tracy as well as Terri. They are just "victims" of our culture of death with no respect for human life, perhaps not even their own.
