Tonight's show

fyi
The "Progressive" crowd at CNN doesn't want to give credit where credit it due. In fact, they are still hoping Lebanon and Iraq turn into civil wars.
This is just great to see!
Thank you for the ping.
I've been so desperate for footage of this that I actually turned on NBC Nightly News tonight and caught the tail end of the coverage of the Lebanese today. So, CNN has ongoing coverage...NBC has coverage...and FOX? Where are they? I know they have Ashley and I have no problem with the coverage of that story, I do have a problem with M.J., but why isn't there room for both in a 24/7 news cycle?
I'm incredibly disappointed with the news sources WE made big once again dropping the ball. If NBC and CNN are going to have footage of events I want to see, I'll start watching them again. I can always mute them.
A wow and a BUMP
I'm as critical of CNN as the next person, but Anderson Cooper aired plenty of Lebanese men saying they loved America and they loved George Bush.
He and others reported that the Lebanese felt empowered by the elections in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Credit where credit is due.
Where's the pictures of the Protest Babes?
I see that prairie directed you to the thread, cyn. Sorry. I've been watching 24.
Yeah. If Terry McAwful becomes a staffer on FNC, I think I'll stroke right out. And if he's on Hannity and Colmes, FNC will be just like all the other shows. Two libs and one conservative. Aargh
As a Lebanese I voted for both. It obviously wouldn't have happened without either. Thank you George W!
Who deserves the credit for the developments in Lebanon?
George W. Bush 9% 71 votes
The Lebanese people 72% 584 votes
Both 19% 151 votes
Total: 806 votes
It is late, so I thought I would offer this update.
Thanks, not a lot of interest from either side it appears.

Correct, so sad. These people have more fortitude than anyone here. It moves me to see them giving so much for something we just take for granted.
Thank you again for the work you have put into supplying those of us that are interested. I actually had someone say to me yesterday that the whole ME should be bombed into nothing more than a big hole. I could not believe it! I may have felt that way 3 1/2 years ago, but after everything we have seen from these people, how could anyone think that today.
Ernest, I wanted to bump yesterday's thread as Anderson Cooper is still doing his show from Beirut.
He opened with it (it's on now, to anyone reading) and now the show is back to doing American news but will go back to Cooper in a bit.
He said today he and his crew gained access to the assassination site that triggered these protests.
So, with that explanation...BUMP.
Thanks for the bump, I have been busy getting ready for company ....will be erratic in my FreeRepublic posts for awhile.
