Some comments and pictures from FDD Senior Fellow Walid Phares:
A sea of demonstrators of at least 1.5 million, stretching to the Mediterranean.
According to most sources, more than a million and a half joined the demonstration. This would represent more than one third of Lebanon's population.
The other side of the demonstration.
Bridges, buildings...
Christian and Muslim women.
Sign saying: We are two million demonstrators, without the Brothers. A hint at Hezbollahs march last week, which included a third of Syrian workers.

God bless them.
Those poor people have suffered enough all these decades.
They should be free, but Assad knows his neck will soon be in the noose if Lebanon goes democratic.
Too bad, cause its gonna happen anywho, hahahahah!

The last picture is a perfect example of Lebanese cheekiness! I am so full of hope. Thank you USA. Thank you George W. Bush.

I'll be listening to see how NPR covers this. They characterized Hizbollah's mob as "a massive demonstration organized by a group called 'Save Lebanon'
(or something like that) affiliated with Hisbollah."

Well i have FOX on for Shep Smith. And NOTHING about this huge demonstration, course we have heard about the Jackson trial ad nauseum.
To: BCrago66
We conservatives to take this as an example of what can be. Even take a page out of their book, so to speak. They aren't free, and yet look at the unity, despite that. We are free, and yet we sit back and let the left destroy our society, and dismantle our Constitution.

Wait a minute... I thought the million mom march was a million. If that is true, judging by those pictures there are at least 5 million people there. /sarcasm

I'd love to see a definitve statement of support for these people from President Bush. Something along the lines of, "Any foreign interference in the affairs of Lebanon attempting to counter their desire for self-determination and government, from this day forward, will be considered an act of war against the U.S. And we will respond accordingly." Then I'd park a carrier group right off the coast in the Mediterranean.
