What exactly is a russian liberal ideologocally speaking? Kasporov doesnt like communism, thats for sure.

I can't sort out Kasparov's politics, except to say he appears strongly anti-authoritarian.
In any event, chess is more popular in Russia than any sporting event in the US. So he is sure to be a 'player' on the political scene.

I hope he runs against Putin. Kasparov would be the best thing to EVER happen to Russia.
