Child, your buddy Joey thinks himself a real intellectual. Battlestar Galactica can't hold a candle to what Gene Roddenberry and George Lucas created.

My buddy Joey (who is a Sci Fi Guru) admits that the best of Star Wars is superior to anything done by BSG. But as Joey said last month "Back in 1977, Lucas was a genius. But Lucas'a creative muse died about the time that Duran Duran ruled the charts. Since then, Lucas stopped mining diamonds, and is now mining low grade ore"

But Lucas'a creative muse died about the time that Duran Duran ruled the charts.

The name of that "muse" was Joseph Campbell. Without his advice, the plotlines have languished. The reason that the first trilogy was so brilliant was that it incorporated so many of the archetypes rooted in mythology. Now, all Lucas has got is a story everyone knows the ending to. He should have filmed the final 3 before the prequel 3...

Oh, and whoever was commenting on the "chemistry" of Natalie Portman, I'll agree so long as that chemical is formaldehyde. She was so wooden in those films that she would have caught fire if the spotlights had been placed any closer. My god, breeding her with Keanu Reeves could produce an army of Ents!
