I don't know whose worse, Doc Gooden or Darryl Strawberry.
Both of them defecated away possible Hall of Fame careers.

He works in player development in the Yankees' front office. Team spokesman Richard Cerrone said he had no comment on the incident Sunday. Fire his ass and let him rot away in the streets. You try to help people like Gooden get back on his feet and he still screws up.

Tampa police reported...an argument between Gooden and his ex-wife, Monique Moore. Police said Moore threw a telephone handset at Gooden...
What? No mention of how fast the radar gun clocked the phone flying at Gooden's head?
...and [Gooden] punched her face with a closed fist, resulting in a bruise.
(And here come Mel Stottlemyre and Gene Monahan out of the dugout to take a look...;-)

Ah, yes, just as regular and comforting as the swallows returning to Capistrano; what would Spring Training be without a Gooden or Strawberry arrest?
