There's quite a lot of information about Terri Schiavo, much of it here on FR. FR is like a basement or storage room with lots of boxes labeled “Terri”. But the information in those dusty old threads, some of it painstakingly researched and retrieved, is getting buried and lost, unusable for latercomers (and, speaking from experience, forgotten except as an “I kinda remember...” foggy recollection). This leads to people putting precious time into rediscovering what had been put together a year or more ago, and an inability to relate information easily -- it's all here "somewhere". (Pause at this point to acknowledge and thank the earliest Freepers who posted about Terri here, and to enlist your comments and support.)
So “Terri Schiavo Info Cataloguing Threads” are just that:
an attempt to collect, source (or discredit), and catalog/categorize facts and information -- aka nuggets -- related to Terri Schiavo.This will then permit easier access, scrutiny, analysis, and use by many more people, since very few have time to read every post. Each thread will in essence be a “parking lot” for what at first will be odd information. That will then be organized into a successively more usable and complete form.
This is roughly patterned after Alamo Girl’s Downside Legacy work. This is what I have in mind, and by golly, Alamo Girl already said it:

It is also inspired by threads, such as the Waco ones, in which individuals pored over photos and information in an attempt to arrive at a better understanding of the situation. In those threads, a pile of rough information, known facts, half truths, obfuscations, red herrings, and dead ends is distilled into a picked-clean pile of truths.
Please respect the overall INTENT of these threads -- TO GATHER, SOURCE, and CATALOG INFORMATION (raw data, insight, expertise) -- and individual posters. Superfluous off-topic posts will make this more difficult. Either take arguments off thread, or agree to disagree to disagree. IOW, “big kids” only, no troll warnings necessary, and this should work.
Organization is according to the following keywords that have withstood my own initial feasibility checks which can certainly be supplemented and refined:
1 Schiavomedical** -- Medical, starting with proving or rejecting of these two points:1a Terri Schiavo is not in a persistent vegetative state.
1b Regardless of her condition (PVS or not), Terri is not receiving the care that another similar patient would. -- which brings in the current DCF investigation.1a Schiavomeddocs -- Catalog of medical info / records / documents / medical related depositions & witness statements -- to permit easier “fingertip” access instead of wondering where they went!
1b SchiavoDCF** -- DCF complaints and investigation, attempts to discredit it (talk about “don’t need to be a weatherman to see which way the wind blows”, this was it!)
2 Schiavomedia -- Media coverage, or not.
2a Schiavoimages** -- Photos / video / audio / images available, rare glimpses of Terri’s situation -- to permit easier access to
3 Schiavophilosophy -- philosophical view; meaning and importance of Terri’s life
3a Terriphilosophy -- Terri’s own beliefs, convictions, practices, lifestyle, worldview
3b Schiavoreligion -- church related information, vatican statements, local hierarchy actions, inactions, concerns, relationship to others (eg, business dealings, donations to campaigns).
3b Schiavosupport -- individuals and groups who have come out in support of, or opposed to, Terri’s return to her family so that she can receive the care she needs, and why.
4 Schiavobusiness -- left to others to organize and post -- financial and business aspects and relations, including that now-defunct but still mysterious Jerger Centonze Insurnace [sic, just as it was incorporated at SunBiz]
5 Schiavolegislative -- left to others to organize and post -- rationale, reality of 1999 change to make hydration and nutrition “extraordinary measures”; Jim King’s legacy
6 Schiavojudicial -- left to others to organize and post -- courts, lawsuits, guardian issues, recall efforts, depositions, witness statements (Carla Iyer et al)
6a Schiavojuddocs -- documents related to the above.
10a Schiavocollapse -- Terri’s initial collapse, including reports of Micheal’s actions (or, in the case of CPR and calling 911, inactions, and discrepancies in his (and his lawyers) recounting of events of that night, eg court testimony on one occasion vs court testimony on another occasion vs Larry King Live vs other interviews.

I’ll post a few sample threads later to experiment with “parking information” onto them, and those links will be down thread. Let me know any suggestions, additions. I would prefer to turn the individual category threads -- especially legislative, and judicial -- over to the most involved, knowledgeable, and capable individuals in those areas.

Why?: Because we can. This forum offers an unprecendented ability to consider and distill information, as noted above re: Alamo Girl’s Downside Legacy and other topic threads.

What hospice is Terri Schaivo staying at? She was moved from the one located off 66th St. in Pinellas Park a few months ago, and relocated to a place in Clearwater. What is the address to the present hospice? Thank you.
Terri is at Woodside Hospice and has been for sometime. The following are quotes.
"In March, 2002, Michael Schiavo and his attorney, George Felos, secretively relocated Terri Schindler-Schiavo from the Palm Gardens Nursing Home to the hospice without court order and without notifying her parents.
George Felos also conveniently forgot to give notice to the court and her parents, Mary and Robert Schindler Sr. that he was chairman of the board of directors at the Hospice at the time and had been since at least Jan. 31, 1997 and perhaps earlier."
I like your suggestion -- Schiavofinancial is actually a better, more inclusive topic than Schiavobusiness, which I wasn't too crazy about.
