Many in this thread, including me, said, in effect, that this could be a trigger for a military conflict.
This sounds more like a maneuver to raise the political temperature in the region to shake some obstinate players loose, by reminding them of what lies ahead.
I have been expecting provocative remarks pretending to be loose talks. So I would not pass it off as purely pointy headed just yet.
It's a non-starter - some eggheads lame idea.
