Thanks, Lizavetta. What woman, worth her salt, needs to be "found and nurtured?" What a trite and insulting view of women. Who found and "nurtured" Miss Dowd? Does she still need nurturing at her age?

Are intelligent writers like Gertrude Himmelfarb, Dorothy Rabinowitz, Heather Macdonald, swept into some editor's comfy lap and caressed and coddled into some semblance of intellectual activity that is acceptable to the tough guys like Howell Raines on editorial pages?

Women who think independently, and do not misconstrue reality through the prism of ideology, are repelled by this "women are equal to men but we need to be nurtured" extortion racket.
