What happened in Atlanta was anarchy, meant to destroy our basic faith in our system.

BS. It was a thug who knew that he was going to be convicted and he did what thugs do. It had nothing to do with 'faith in the system.'

The Atlanta assault along with the murders of Judge Lefkow's Mother and Husband should put us all on notice that we must protect our public officials.

More BS. We need to punish the guilty swiftly and appropriately harsh. We need to treat criminals as such and quit coddling them. We need to throw out the PC regulations that allow any person to have a job that they are not seriously qualified for.

Perhaps these 2 judges were models of judicial excellence, I don't know. But it seems to me that it is poetic justice in general (and possibly injustice in the particular) that what judges for 40 years have permitted to happen to us, has come home to roost.

Judges are as bound by their oaths as any other official and they weaken the system and the nation when they don't. The effects of their disrespect for the Constitution go far beyond the case before them.

I propose that the difference in coverage is also due to the fact that one perp was on the loose while the other was already dead.

Too bad teh judge killed wasn't the one who let the child molestor go because his known victim (the one the pervert videotaped himself molesting) had died before the tape was found.
