Eight people are dead and four others injured after gunfire broke out during a church meeting this afternoon at the Sheraton Hotel in Brookfield. Police say that the suspect is among the eight dead and no other suspects are being sought.
The dead range in age from 10 years old to 72.
I dunno....crying....whining....same thing isnt it?
Think of it as a a note on good manners. You accused the lady before reading the thread, you jumped the gun and now want to appear all tough. Doesn't work for me, but keep posturing if you must.
yeah, thanks for the advice Martha Stewart. How about I keep replying to threads I want to and you keep replying with your "OMG YOU ARE SO MEAN!" old lady like mantra
I hope you feel better soon..If symptoms persist, call your physician.
You noticed that, too (again!)
I wonder if there is something in the water...
I would bet medication is involved somewhere.
Relax.
Nothing loony in saying it seems that way. It does.
In reality, they always have a raft of anti-gun legislation waiting in the wings, and will ride whatever story to get as much passed as they can.
The media will hype both the story and the proposed legislation, simply because they are anti-gun also. (If it bleeds, it leads!)
I have thought about this tragic murder spree and suicide and the coverage...I believe three things are missing in the story that drive a story..(besides the fact that a major story was already filling the air and Saturday is a bad day for news coverage)
Mystery about who did it, the fact that the murderer and the murdered are not well known( so far we have no clue about their identities) or do not have positions in our law enforcement/judicial system...There is no anxiety about finding a dangerous criminal, whether he will kill again or whether he will be tried and convicted..
When the names of the victims are published, there will be stories published sbout the losses and more will be revealed sbout the murderer.
May God comfort those who mourn.
This is a link to a publication about the various organizations of the Church of God. It has more information on this tragedy:

Very sad...I would say the gunman was paranoic and blaming the church for not curing his depression, problems,etc...
Prayers for the survivors and those who mourn.
Not tinfoil hat time, either.
The shooters at Columbine (Kliebold and Harris), Kip Kinkel, and a host of other school shooters (during the Clinton administration) were on some sort of psychoactive medication, often prescribed for depression. There may well be a connection.
The shooter usually wraps the spree up by killing themselves.
Thanks...I googled it and came up empty.
Briefing in approximately 4 hours..just heard it on CNN.
Suburbs of Waukesha County. About 10 minutes from me. Very scary.
As my friends live west of Milwaukee and out of the "dreaded Milwaukee country", it seems more psychos are coming out of those western burbs (Brookfield, New Berlin, et.al.)
You're right!
I believe it's almost like a self-gratifacation. His last "F*ck You" to the world for the miserable life he lived and blames us for.
Coward.
I wish they would get on to the bottom line first, if they are determined to ultimately deprive us of their worldly presence.
That said, a tremendous number of these poor slobs are medicated with some psychoactive drugs, and I frequently wonder if the drugs are not a contributing factor.
There are those who assert that the drugs help these people (although they commonly are the same folks who prescribe the pharmacology to begin with), but imho, you can't get your head straight by filling it with a bunch of chemicals.
I know a couple of folks who tried that on their own back when, and may have crossed that fine line between mind expansion and simple dissemination...
can I still drop off my rental car???
prayers going up!!!!!
In the practical sense, I think one can perfectly well see a person typing out that quick response and then calmly making a call. They were talking same locality--not, for example, a specific shared workplace. It was a hotel in an area where someone, presumably NOT a worker in that hotel, actually RESIDED.
Then, not to put too fine a point on it, why attempt to castigate or insult that person? IMO, that is just small-minded and mean. It's something you might want to think about, rather than figuring out a response here.
Suggestion offered, Rambler
But one can never agrue with an unarmed person...and I shant attempt to do so with you.
Apparently he knows a whole lot more about the teachings of the 2 religions than you do.
You show you lack of logic and reason and either complete stupidity of the nature of islam or are a muslim here to lie to us with the islam is a good religion propaganda.
Isn't it a pity for the pro-islam propaganda that the west can actually read for themselves the words of the koran.
"Mr. Herbert Armstrong always said"Don't believe ME , believe the Holy Bible" He never held a gun or whip to anybody in WorldWide Church of God. Anybody could leave anytime. Some did, and there was never an empty seat. The fact that thousands decided to leave, during the many decades, for whatever reasons, shows that there was NO kind of "control" over anybody."
You must have always asked the right questions and never got out of line. The "Don't believe Me, believe the Holy Bible" was the sales pitch. The list is extremely long where the doctrine is anti-Bible. What was the guy's name that hitched himself to the "Church" wagon, the one that always wore sunglasses? Have they set a new date to flee?
The connection is that they were all disturbed in the first place, which is probably why they were on meds.
