Is this another one? There was a big brouhaha earlier in the same area about the same type of event.

Every time I see one of their commercials, I think, "We've got to get some of those in CA."

THis is very odd. I don't quite understand how can there be a sonic boom? Don't planes cause those or something? Why would USGS?

It was a Supersonic player shooting a brick at the free throw line.

Just heard a loud rumble. Thought it was just my neighborhood in south St. Pete. Now getting calls from friends across town asking if we felt it.

I may have heard it. Don't recall the exact time, but heard a boom earlier this evening. It didn't sound like the sonic boom/crack like the shuttle makes when it flies over before landing. It did make me sit up straight though.

It has an "X" denoting that they don't know the magnitude or even whether it really was an earthquake.

It was huge. My whole house shook for quite a while, I almost thought it was an earthquake. My cats went nuts and one started to cry.

Not only did I hear it here in Hudaon, but my girlfriend 10 miles to the South called me up, and told me HER girlfriend down in Anclote heard it also.
