I misunderstood in thinking you were calling me a "swine". Thank you for clarifying your remarks. Again, I am not trying to denigrate you or other Catholics.

When God calls something "sin", that is what we should call it. When God calls people to repent (turn from sin and do the opposite), it is not because He doesn't like us, it is because He loves us.

But anyone who remains in their sins will be cut off from the Love of God when they die.

It almost always makes people angry when they are told they need to repent. Yet this is a message of love.

God has sent His messengers to warn people to flee from the coming wrath. God's wrath is stored up in heaven and will soon be poured out on the earth. Repentance from dead works is required - not optional - for us to hope to find mercy and escape the terrible things that are coming to the earth.

We all must put our trust entirely in Jesus. There is no other name given to mankind by which we can be saved. We cannot rely on our own goodness, or the goodness of others, or the goodness of the church.

Even though God operates today through what the Bible calls "church", that does not exclude even the church from the need to repent.

Revelation 3:17-22 - Because you say, "I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing"; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel you to buy from me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white clothing, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness does not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and REPENT. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit say to the churches.

If anyone does not turn away from idols, fornication, adultery, murder, hatred and bitterness, and things like these, and turn to God in the faith of Christ to serve Him, they will die in their sins. These are sins for which Jesus died. He rose again to give new life to those who believe on Him - to live apart from these things.

These are the two commands of God's message of salvation: repent and believe.

If you came to my door and started talking to me like that and wouldn't leave me be, I would call the police on you.

You are nothing but bible bullies. Maybe you would do better to look at your own faults rather than tear me apart for my little ones. Maybe you should write to the Vatican and all the catholic bishops if you think they are teaching so wrong.

But it is easier to pick on a sick, weak sheep and try to isolate it from the flock before you move in for the kill.

One more thing, please, because it is of even more importance than prayer.

You said "anyone who remains in their sins will be cut off from the Love of God when they die."

NO! Anyone who does not trust in the death of Jesus Christ for them when they die 'remains in their sins' and cuts themselves off from the love of God when they die.

Humans will always "remain in their sins" until they die, because we have a sin nature. Our salvation is NOT based on OUR sinlessness, but on CHRIST'S. We are NEVER cut off from the Love of God. "For God so loved the world..."

Jesus asks only one thing: "BELIEVE in Me, and you shall be saved." Only belief in Him accepts His forgiveness and grace and mercy. It is NOT our sins which "cut us off from" God's love as you would claim, but it is our unbelief in the One Who has atoned for those sins, and does not require us to add to His efficient work.
