What's making me mad is how the older generation is untouchable and anyone under 67 right now is being asked to take all the cuts. That leaves me with 20 years to readjust my plans while the old folks had their whole life to plan for retirement. It's about ot hit the fan sooner than these morons realize.

Right...there was no earthly reason for the gullible geezers to think the gravy train was going to keep going for their 30 years of retirement on the meager contributions they put in. And to buy their votes while spending their retirement money, Congress would sweeten the pot still further with COLA raises over the years. The average retiree has used up all the money he put in, plus interest, in less than 5 years of drawing payments. The young worker bees kick in the rest of the 20 years they continue to live. That's way too expensive. Let it go broke. They deserve it after believing the bunk that the politicians have been lading out since FDR started this scam.

I understand.Once these younger people begin running things, they are not going to be so charitible to the old coots.

They will see their taxes skyrocketing and say "There oughta be a law........

And there will be.

Just as their grand parents decided that rasing a child was inconvenient, they will decide that taking of old coots who can't fend for themselves is inconvenient.
