LOS ANGELES Actress Nicole DeHuff (search), who memorably took a volleyball in the face from Ben Stiller in the 2000 hit movie "Meet the Parents" (search), died of complications from pneumonia. She was 31.
DeHuff had twice visited a hospital shortly before her death Feb. 16 but was sent home both times, the E! Network's E! Online Web site reported Friday.

Yep. Goes right to the lungs. Even after it is over, a week or so, effects linger. Pneumonia could easily complicate.
Same age as my daughter. Her parents are grieving mightily.
When you post an article you can enter whatever keywords you want. It has nothing to do with the title. You're really not supposed to change the title from how it was originally published. I did a keyword search on dehuff and found nothing. I just think it's weird that whoever posted the original article didn't use her name as one of the keywords.
I know of a small child who died here last week. Was just cold, came in and laid down with mom in bed to get warm. She got so cold that mom drew the tub with warm water for her to soak in. When mom picked the child up, the little one went limp and turned blue. She died at the ER just a few hours later. 7 years old I think. What is happening lately?!
So sad. My friend was just admitted for pneumonia last week and just got out of ICU.
