Bonanza anytime the Cartwright boys had a serious romantic interest, the girl always died. Falling in love with a Cartwright Boy was pretty much a death sentence. Heck, ol' Ben Cartwright had three wives die on him. :)
However, on The Big Valley, anyone who got romanticaly involved with a Barkley turned out to be a crook.
