Yes, it is unfortunate, the depressing themes of these movies. Your philosophy sounds nice, but the difficult (and often uncomfortable) truth is that while one does not need faith to be a good person, one does need faith (in Jesus) to be saved. (Ooh! That does sound uncool these days.) But truly, faith in Jesus is far more than a hobby like jogging, but the only way to God. I understand fully that belief in this truth will become more and more uncool and unacceptable and ridiculous sounding. I am not ashamed to admit my belief in Jesus to you, though. :)

My purpose of my last post was that people shouldn't automatically look down upon someone bc he/she believes in the Lord. I am one of those people just as you are. It may be uncool here, but what does that really matter. Eternity in heaven is the payoff. Do not be ashamed to announce to your peers and those that are not, your belief in him. times are going to get more difficult to do this in an accepting atmosphere. Be true to the book of God bc this is the only guide you have. Find a church that uses the Bible as a guide and you'll be fine. The church is guided by the bible, not the other way around. Keep your head up to the world and head bowed to God.
