Richard Poe responds:
JOE43270 writes: "He flew the missions and spent the time as a POW. As a U.S. Air Force veteran, I won't forget any of that.
Yes, McCain served his country. No one can take that from him. But let's face it. Benedict Arnold served his country too. Indeed, Arnold's military record was far more impressive than McCain's.
Benedict Arnold led the Continental Army to many victories; he exhausted his personal fortune to pay his troops; he received serious wounds that crippled him for life.
But, in the end, he turned traitor.
JOE43270 retorts: "You should read all of what I wrote so people including you won't be taking me out of context. I also said I wish he wasn't in Congress. I've not been thrilled with him at all."
Richard Poe responds: My apologies. I didn't mean to take you out of context. I just wanted to respond to your point about McCain's military service, so that's the part I quoted. And, the fact is, I agree 100 percent with your point about his service. McCain's military record can never be taken from him, nor should it. He earned it.
That said, I think we both agree that it's time to remove this man from public life. As with Benedict Arnold before him, McCain couldn't go the distance. His patriotism wore out. McCain no longer serves America. Now he serves Soros.
Thank you for coming back to me. We do agree 100%. I want him gone and Soros too.
