I believe it was the perp's attorney.

I certainly have sympathy for anyone wrongly accused of any crime. But if this man was innocent of rape in this case, his actions today completely and totally destroy any ounce of that sympathy. Even if there was reasonable doubt that he raped his former girlfriend, he is now a brutal killer. Whether his girlfriend was vindictive and disgruntled is totally irrelevent to me at this point.

Oh and I forgot to add: I live and work in Atlanta/Fulton Co., and my boss had jury duty at the beginning of this week. She was in the pool for this very trial. Fortunately she got dismissed, but I'd have really hated it if it had worked out that she'd been on that jury.
