I have no problem with female deputies, but just be smart about it.If you have a 220 pound dude, bring backup for god's sake.
I'd say do that regardless of the deputy's gender. I don't think it should ever be one on one.

Agreed. Especially if he has a history of trying to smuggle weapons.
