I don't know about the others referring to women. My PC comment was about the fact that the defendant was not restrained in any way because it might "prejudice" the jury. Hope I have not been misunderstood.
I am not quite sure what people are trying to say. I am trying to understand what the most recent story is because I have a cousin who is with fulton sheriff.
I am a female cop so no I am not trying to say women should not be in LEO.
No, what I think most people are getting at is that this perp was accused of a very violent crime and last week was caught trying to bring a shiv into the court room and was not restrained in any way as not to give the jury an impression that he is guilty. That is the PC people are talking about for the most part.
"Help me understand this. Those who are saying "PC killed 3 people", are you saying that because the deputy was a woman, 3 people died?"
No Warren the PC the people are referring to is the fact this violent perp who was on trial for rape and sodomy and who had already been caught trying to sneak a home made knife into the court on Wed. was NOT brought into the court in shackles because defense lawyers in Atlanta have successfully lobbies to remove the shackles because of the "negative image" it would have projected to the jury.
THAT kind of PC is what killed the judge and the officers.
