I was from there, once. Before I was from there, I was from Illi-noise. Then the Wi-SKAN-sin tax center wanted to gig me for $69 in back taxes from 1985. Only thing was, I was NEVER in Wi-SKAN-sin, except long enough to drive from Great Lakes, IL, to Conde, SD. I had to call them ugly cheese-head-idiots before they dropped the suit.
I was from Illi-Noise by way of New York before I came to Wisconsin. But that was a long time ago. Wisconsin is a great place to live as long as you avoid Madison and Milwaukee. We live in the hills and valleys of southwestern Wisconsin, wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you for your sacrifices and your strength. And your well developed sense of humor.
