Thanks, DJ. While I have made my wishes known to my family, I have avoided writing up a Living Will, just in case I run into an overzealous attorney or doctor. I don't believe that everyone in Florida is against Terri -- the judge, the hospice, the doctors, everyone else. I do think that is a bit over the top. I also think that Terri is PVS and the Schindlers are in denial. I know that I wouldn't want to live for 15 years like Terri and that my husband and children should move on with their lives.
That said, in the end I think it's really none of our business. We cannot possibly know what they are feeling, what is going on in their minds, what their life circumstances are. It's not for us to judge.
