"The Commission has also drawn up a document designed to 'thank the Spanish people and the government for their attitude towards Muslims' since last March 11, in particular for not taking 'disproportionate' measures similar to those which the Sept 11 attacks sparked in the US."

Disproportionate measures? Give me a break. Muslims have never been subjected to profiling at airport security, though they should be. Instead, little old ladies from Iowa get searched. Nor have any measures been taken to curb some of the radical political activity that goes on at some mosques and other gatherings. What on earth are they talking about? No other nation in the history of the world after being attacked by a specific religious group would remain as tolerant, open and forebearing towards that group as the US has. Bush didn't round up Muslims and put them in interment camps like DEMOCRAT FDR did with Japanese people after Pearl Harbor. Spare me the whining.

Change the word 'tolerant' in the above to 'stupid', 'naive', and/or 'blind'
