On Fox, the announcers reminded us that some of the big mafia dons in NYC had to come to the courtroom in stretchers or guerneys. Whether they had been feigning illness to avoid trial I don't know.

Yes! Did you ever see "Goodfellas"? At the trial all the dons come in and have oxygen tanks, tracs, wheel chairs, private nurse, etc.
