Instead of wallowing in self-pity, Canadians should show some balls and demand their liberty and self-determination at the price of their lives, if necessary.

Governments are inherently possessed of momentum to tear freedom away from the people. The people must resist that tyranny. It's a disgrace the people of Canada allowed their government to require gun registration. I'll have no respect for Canadians until they force a repeal of that tyranny.

With respect. Senator Gore got the popular vote over George Bush in 2000. I myself, would have wept bitter tears for the USA had he have won. Unless of course Albert Gore came out swinging if he was elected.

Then there is Hilary in the wings. Socialism? you may get it in spades yet. LOL There is an old song- Rathers tune. "We all make mistakes ..... "etc. On George Walker Bush.

His moral resolution stamps him as one of the greatest leaders to emerge in the last 100 years.

Thanks a mill. From your "voters get what they deserve" statement I got what I am always looking for: a good belly-laugh. I think that's because between politicians and my workplace, I'm not used to such straightforwardness.

However, I have noticed that in humour, as "in vino veritas", there is often the loud ring of truth.
