The current AiRUST Aflop 380 version is already grossly over weight.
Once Boeing introduces the 747 Advanced and becomes a good seller, and since a shrunk version of the A 380 will be heavier than the 747 Advanced, the AiRUST Aflop 380 won't be shrunk.
I was reading on Airliners.net web sight that, the discussion there was, Airust will need now to sell 300 airframes to break even now and make a profit.

Yes, Boeing needs to go ahead with the 747 Advanced.
It would be a poor dicision to shut the 747 production line down, and then, later discover that it was a big mistake when costumers want it.
Let's hope those costumers says " YES, we will buy it, if you make it " .
Come on Boeing ! Don't give up on the 747 just yet.

Even though the 777LR won't have the passenger capacity as the A - 380 , it will have a greater range, a better and turn time around, so airlines can have this plane back up in the air while the A 380 still is boarding passengers.

But that isn't even the most important point. This plane will go from an international airport near you to an another international airport near your destination. The A380 will go from one super mega hub airport to another super mega hub. You'll probably have to add two more flights each way just to get to and from theses hubs. That will add hours or days to travel and increase the likelyhood that your bags don't get to your destination.
