Pink Floyd?
I love Pink Floyd. Always will. However, you can not compare the 2 bands being better than eachother. Pink Floyd hasn't toured since when? 1994-95? You had the entire Syd mess for a few years. Then the crap with Waters that went on for years and still is. Pink Floyd has released 2...count them..2 studio albums since 1987. Am I supposed to think that is superior to Rush? A band that since 1987 has released 7 studio albums, 3 live albums,multiple dvd's,and greatest hits packages. They would have released more studio albums had Peart not lost his 18 yr old daughter in a car wreck and his wife 10 months later to cancer.
They took 5 yrs off for Neil to heal and came back with roaring success with Vapor Trails, Rush In Rio, Feedback, and the R-30 Tour.
As I said...no disrespect to Floyd as a band. I love them. But Rush has proven stronger and better quality and work ethic not only against PF but any other band from their genre with the exception of maybe Yes who manages to release a new cd of something and a dvd of something every 6 months or so.
