Sounds almost like the Church I go to. It is part of the Calvary Chapel (CC) movement. After going to the local CC for a few years, I cannot go back to a traditional church such as wearing a suit. One guy I know wore a suit the first few times to CC but today, it is cowboy boots, jeans, ball cap with a reference to fishing. He mentioned that he is glad to be free from the suit ! I myself, I wear jeans, t-shirt or sweatshirt and in the Summer, sandals, shorts & t-shirt.

I have noticed that a lot of CC churches rent space from Adventists. Is there some reason for that trend?
