CONCORD, N.H. - Morgan Quitno Press has named New Hampshire the ``Most Livable State'' for the second consecutive year.
Like last year, the Granite State passed Minnesota to take the top spot.
Vermont held at third, while Massachusetts ranked seventh, Connecticut 14th, Maine 15th and Rhode Island 23rd.
The 2005 award is based on 44 factors. They include median household income, the crime rate and job growth.

My best friend from high school lives in MH. When he retires in a couple of years, he plans to move to VA or N. Carolina.
So much for livability.

Oh, I could go on...
Yuck. I don't want to live in any of those "top" states.
I'll take Tennessee any day. Gas is cheaper, housing is cheaper, taxes are lower, weather is decent, and the mountains are beautiful!!

LOL...It will be 72°F today in Northern California.
My family and I lived in NH for about 9 months. We looked for a house and found that the property tax was going to be nearly as much as the mortgage. We quickly decided to move to KY. As we were packing up the moving truck, we got some tax bill in the mail. Something about a "you are human and living in the state of New Hampshire, so pay this once per year tax".
We LOVE Kentucky.
Right - had an email from a friend in NH this morning - with a drift so high over their front door - they can't open it for the third time this winter. Now Texas in July? I don't open my front door either.
I think that this state deserves to go down the toilet for firing the governor who got us on this list the last two years and replacing him with a guy who lied to Craig Benson when he said he wouldn't run against him if Craig made him chair of the University System Board of Trustees. That's what I think.
And the local media clymer clones...just spew this baloney as "the gospel".
This is absolutely correct. No one should ever move to Florida, its horrible. In fact, everyone should also tell this to all their friends.
There are alligators roaming the streets. Mosquitos as big as crows. Its a lawless place and people are all toting guns around. Never, ever go there. (except to drop a few thousand bucks while on vacation)
(Note for the PC and supersensitive: Illegal is illegal, I don't care who or what you are or where you came from. You are not above the law and neither am I. I just want our government to enforce the immigration laws as intended.)
I've lived in all three so I know what I'm speaking of.
Im moving out of MS soon so at least I wont be last...
