Got into a 'debate' with my liberal sister on the subject of Gannon. She thinks this is just horrible & emblematic of all the sinister dealings of the Bush Whitehouse. As if the Bush Whitehouse were the first to try to manipulate the Media in pursuit of favorable coverage? C'mon!

I just said that granting Gannon a set of Whitehouse Press Credentials was 'spitting on the sidewalk' compared with ABC News' hiring of George Stephanopolus during the Clinton Administration. I mean what, exactly, is a "Journalist" when ABC can pull a stunt like that?
