Buckhead and FR didn't got enough credit for the explosive TANG expose, IMHO.

And speaking of credit, GWB also owes JimRob for the outcome of election 2000..........bigtime.

FR conservative loyalists plugged away at their keyboards during the recount, organizing protests outside the Naval Observatory, protests in Florida.

AlGore admitted the protests got to him and was a factor in his eventual concession.

GWB better be reminded that he owes conservatives a lot.

We should not let him forget it.

"FR didn't git enough credit"

Ronald Reagan once said something like, "There's no limit to what we can accomplish if folks don't worry about who's gittin' the credit"...MUD

And never forget KNBC-TV's very effective TV Coverage of our 2000 'SORE-LOSERMAN-Count the Military Votes' Los Angeles Freep outside the Federal Building in Westwood CA.

Which was duly noted on the Freerepublic.com-supporting HUGH HEWITT National Talk Radio Show, which was being heard in Miami/Dade, Florida during it's Vote-Recount/Stealing Process.

"We must always affirm and support our Military Members' Right to Vote. For after all, they are the ones out there putting their lives on the line ...for that Right" =

...Freeper/Vietnam Veteran "ALOHA RONNIE" Guyer being interviewd by KNBC-TV's Reporter TED CHEN, a TV Interview that play all weekend long on Channel 4 News throughout Southern California.

Earlier that same week NBC had refused to cover our Freep outside its own Burbank TV Studio's Front Door, as we Freepers personally told their watchful Security Chief to be sure and catch our Freep Thread on Freerepublic.com that night. Looks like he did, for KNBC-TV's TED CHEN, from that same NBC Burbank TV Studio, was there early with bells on to cover our next Freep the following Saturday in Westwood CA.

The New Media Rules.
NEVER FORGET that if we had had it for us Vietnam Veterans to fight the RATHER-CRONKITE TV Lies with upon our return from the Vietnam War...

...a once Free South Vietnam would still be Free today.

Believe me GW knows this. As president he can't do what you suggest.

Wait a few years after he retires to see how he feels about Free Republic, conservative blogs, the Swift Vets and ? to come on the internet.

FR conservative loyalists plugged away at their keyboards during the recount, organizing protests outside the Naval Observatory, protests in Florida.

Even more importantly, it was freepers watching TV who sounded the alarm about the Dems meeting in secret to count votes, causing other freepers to quickly gather to storm that room in Palm Beach and prevent it. That was a key event.

The MSM later called them an unruly mob who intimidated the Dems. Crooks need intimidating.
