Close to 4,000,000 people live in the city of Los Angeles... and less than 10% of them bothered to show up at the polls.

What is even more depressing is that there are 350,000 Republicans registered to vote in Los Angeles. If 200,000 of them had voted for the only real Republican running, Mr. Moore, Los Angeles would have had a real conservative Mayor. But no. The State party, which took a drubbing in November's elections, couldn't get its act together. If Arnold had come down and campaigned for Moore it would have been a lock. I guess he didn't want to tick of the Democrats, while its okay to piss-off the Republicans.
