Huh, most of the suicide bombers in the Middle East use homemade bombs, not guns. It's unlikely terrorists would use guns for terrorism. Way too ineffective.

It's unlikely terrorists would use guns for terrorism. Way too ineffective. Sorry, but you're wrong. Look at how much panic two individuals, John Muhammed and Lee Malvo, were able cause with one semi-automatic rifle. Now imagine what 10, 50, or 100 armed terrorists with plenty of ammo could do before the police got to them. If each picked off ten innocent citizens (which is not unreasonable if they hit several shopping malls on a given weekend), we'd have a mini-9/11 on our hands. I'm not supporting the author's "let's get rid of the 2nd Amendment" point of view, although I do give him credit for being honest about what the 2nd Amendment actually means (unlike most Liberals who engage in sophistry, and claim that the 2nd Amendment is "about the National Guard"). I'm just saying: let's not kid ourselves into believing that firearms in the hands of terrorists pose less of a threat than, say, a terrorist hitting pedestrians with a SUV (although a SUV in a major city could rack up a good body count as well).
