Mayoral results are starting to come in, but you can't tell which districts they are counting.

The votes counted so far are probably just all the absentee votes received, probably not including late absentee. Once the rest of the votes come in, I would guess Hertzberg's percentage should decline (but I'm not from LA, so I don't really know).

Yep, you're right; they were mail-in votes.
I posted that from an article on the 'live thread' linked above.

It is bound to swing throughout the night. It should be interesting.
