As I am draining the last glass from a 1999 BV Rutherford this is my last post for tonight. It is not proleptic, the anticipation and answering of an objection or argument before one's opponent has put it forward, it is experience. May God bless you, and good night.

As consciousness studies have grown over the past decade, as we think about our thoughts, we realize how much thought itself is an inconsequential thing -- our present lasts about two to fifteen seconds, according to Merlin Donald, author of the book A Mind So Rare. Our mind's a blip, elegantly borne in the litter of a body that's mostly four-billion-year-old water. We're the ultimate May-December marriage.

Fine!

Clearly Chantek is the handiwork of God! What a wonderful part of creation we are all privileged to enjoy. We should remember that we are called to be stewards of these creatures, and someday our treatment of them may be called as witness to our faithfulness...

Thank you for posting this. There is no doubt in my mind that animals think, and reason, to varying degrees, and have feelings somewhat analogous to what people feel. We are formed of the same clay by the Maker.

Thanks for posting this.

The arrogance and closed minds displayed in some of these posts is breathtaking.
