It'll be some time before machines are able to deal with generational slang and human grammatical and spelling errors, not to mention regional dialects, colloquialisms and the like.

Don't worry. Check the date. This was from the early days of computers, back when they were thought of as omniscient thinking machines.

Here we are fifty years later, and BabelFish is still almost unintelligible. No, your daughter has a bright future if she is a translator or interpreter.
