Glocks are fine. They can have the sweetest triggers in the world.
I guess I didn't see a problem with them not having a safety since I came from revolvers.
And a hammer wouldn't have helped to prevent this. The slide was back when the 2d officer handed the weapon back to him. He just let it slide forward and then pulled the trigger. I presume he would have done the same, thinking it was unloaded anyhow, if a hammer was showing cocked.
As a side note, my wife says she knows this guy. I'm going to show her the movie tonight and see what she says :-)
