There is no such thing as an accidental discharge. Just a way of trying to explain a negligent discharge.

I've seen a "real" accidental discharge... 7 of them, in fact.

At a USPSA competition, the either the sear or disconnector on a friend's 1911 broke. The first round was fired on purpose: The next 7 rounds were fired full-auto!

Now THAT'S an AD!
