The police were not there for a pot bust. They'd have been there for the dispute he was having with the dealership that sold him a car whether he was growing pot. Two of the four officers were called to the scene after the first two discovered the man was running a chop shop where he was parting out stolen cars. The man was a known psycho and these officers would have been killed whether he had a few pot plants growing in his quonset hut or not.
