Allen/Rice, Allen/Owens, Allen/Santorum, all three sound great to me.

Rice\Allen Rice\Giuliani
If Giuliani was on a ticket, The democrats would NOT win New Jersey...9-11 has stronger resonance here. Memorials dot every town to those in the town that died.

They all sound good to me, too. The problem is that Owens has some baggage unfortunately (he and his wife separated for a reason and my CO contacts who were big supporters of his now say they would never support him for anything again -- that's why he didn't run for BNC's open senate seat last year.) Santorum has to get re-elected first and now he's facing a pro-life Dem who has been elected statewide already. If he survives that challenge, he might be a good choice. Condi has to clarify her positions on social issues. I've heard disparate things about that, but until I hear otherwise, I'll tend to believe the side saying that her strong religious background is what influences her.

Anyone have any other running mate ideas for Allen? I'd love to see him teamed up with Jeb (with either one in the top spot), but Jeb won't run in '08 and he certainly won't run for VP. Oh, well....
